Urban Tree Walk

The Tompkins County Public Library and the Finger Lakes Native Plant Society will host Urban Trees, an identification workshop and walk, Saturday, March 20 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in the BorgWarner Room.

The last in a series of four workshops being held in conjunction with the Library’s 'Living Light' art exhibit, Urban Trees will be taught by Anna Stalter, a plant ecologist and Education and Outings chair for the Finger Lakes Native Plant Society.

Following an indoor lesson, participants will venture out into the urban landscape and identify neighborhood trees. Dress warmly and bring field guides and a 10X lens if you have one.
